Dr Lucy Moore is a highly experienced Educational Psychologist with expertise in working across a wide age range, including pre-schoolers, children and young adults.
Lucy has worked as an Educational Psychologist for over a decade developing her skills in a wide range of areas including learning, memory, organisation, communication and interaction, social and emotional skills and sensory needs. Lucy is committed to using a person-centred consultation approach, enabling children, parents and school to find solutions to challenges that they face. She has particular experience in supporting students with neurodivergence, such as ADHD and Autism, and those with social, emotional or mental health needs to experience increased success at school. This includes supporting children and young people with emotionally based school avoidance, who may be finding it challenging to attend school.
Lucy is an experienced supervisor, supervising school staff, headteachers and trainee Educational Psychologists, and was previously a field tutor for the EP doctoral course at Southampton University. She enjoys planning and delivering training in a wide range of areas to meet the needs of schools, parents or professionals. Also, Lucy has extensive experience of supporting children, young people and families through the process of assessment for an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Lucy has two young children and a dog called Pippin that keep her very busy. In her spare time, she enjoys going for walks, cooking, travelling and anything crafty.
