Our founder, Dr Selina Warlow, is a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience working in neurodevelopment and mental health services. She has built a team of experienced professionals, including Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists—all of whom are passionate about supporting individuals and families on their neurodiversity journey.

Dr Warlow has worked in leading mental health services such as the NHS, CAMHS, and The Priory, and brings her wealth of knowledge and warmth to every step of the process. Private ADHD Assessments near Oundle for Children and Adults

Our ADHD assessments follow NICE guidelines which are the same standards used by the NHS and are available for children, teenagers, and adults. We explore all ADHD presentations, including inattentive, hyperactive-impulsive, and combined types.
We use gold-standard tools such as the QB Check (a computer-based assessment of attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity) and the ACE assessment.

For children, we gather information from parents and schools and take a detailed developmental history.

For adults, we conduct a comprehensive interview and clinical assessment.

Following the assessment, you’ll receive a clear, in-depth report along with practical recommendations and, if appropriate, a formal diagnosis. We also have close links with clinics who can prescribe medication if this is something you would like to consider.

Autism Assessments in Northamptonshire for Children and Adults

Our autism assessments are also based on NICE guidelines, ensuring a high-quality, thorough, and sensitive approach.
We use a combination of:

• Developmental history interviews (e.g., ADI-R),
• Structured observational assessments (e.g., ADOS-2),
• Questionnaires completed by parents, schools, or individuals themselves.

We understand that some people, particularly girls and women may mask or camouflage their difficulties, which is why we gather information from multiple sources to ensure a complete picture.

Following the assessment, we provide a detailed report and offer a feedback session to explain the findings and answer any questions you may have. We’ll also share tailored recommendations and signpost helpful resources.

Assessments for Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)

PDA is a profile seen in some individuals on the autism spectrum who experience high anxiety and a strong need to resist everyday demands. While it is not a separate clinical diagnosis, we are experienced in recognising and assessing for PDA profiles.
If this profile is identified, we will include it in our feedback and diagnostic report, along with advice and resources that can help support day-to-day life at home or school.
